Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston

Explore 168 Catholic parishes, updated schedules, and livestream options across the diocese.

The Diocese of Galveston was established in 1847, originally encompassing all of Texas and parts of present-day Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kansas, Colorado, and Wyoming. Elevated to a Metropolitan Archdiocese in 2004, it now covers ten counties across Southeast Texas — including Harris and Galveston — centered on Houston's Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. With around 167 parishes, it is one of the largest and fastest-growing Catholic archdioceses in the United States.
