Archdiocese of Mobile
Explore 86 Catholic parishes, up-to-date schedules, and livestream options in the diocese.
Mobile has been a Catholic city since French colonists founded it in 1702, making it one of the oldest Catholic communities in the country. The Archdiocese of Mobile was established in 1825 — carved from the Archdiocese of Baltimore and the Diocese of Louisiana — and elevated to a metropolitan archdiocese in 1980. It covers southwestern Alabama from its seat at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, with 87 parishes across the region.
