Diocese of Cheyenne
Explore 71 Catholic parishes, up-to-date schedules, and livestream options in the diocese.
The Diocese of Cheyenne was erected on August 9, 1887, carved out of the Diocese of Omaha, and covers the entire state of Wyoming — all 97,575 square miles of it. The cathedral church is St. Mary's in Cheyenne, consecrated in 1909. With 71 parishes spread across one of the least densely populated states in the country, distances between churches can run over a hundred miles, which has always defined Catholic life here.
