Finding Rest in Christ: A Stewardship Reflection

In the Gospel, Jesus offers a comforting invitation: "Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest." His yoke is easy, and His burden light especially when we share our lives with Him and with one another as a parish community. Ultimately, these readings show that stewardship is rooted in trust. As a parish family, when we recognize that all we have comes from God, we are freed to live with gratitude rather than fear. By embracing Christ's gentle way in our homes, our parish, and our community, we discover that stewardship is not a burden, but a path to peace. So, as members of Our Mother of Sorrows, let us strive to live each day with gratitude, humility, and trust in God. May we use our time and talents to serve one another, offer our daily work as a gift to Him, and place our worries in Christ's hands.
