Gospel Reflection

In today's Gospel, Jesus praises the Father for revealing the truths of the Kingdom to the humble. While the world often values status, knowledge, and selfsufficiency, God delights in hearts that are open, trusting, and willing to receive His grace. Humility allows us to recognize our need for God and to rely on Him rather than on ourselves.

Jesus then offers one of the most comforting invitations in all of Scripture: "Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest." He knows the weight we carry—our worries, struggles, disappointments, and responsibilities. Rather than asking us to bear them alone, He invites us to place them in His hands and learn from His gentle and humble heart

What burdens are we still trying to carry on our own? Jesus promises rest not by removing every difficulty, but by walking with us through them. This week, take time each day to bring your concerns to the Lord in prayer, trusting that His strength is greater than your own and that He is always ready to give peace to those who come to Him.
