Reflection

Jesus knows that our lives are difficult. The mission he left for us is challenging. Additionally, we have dozens of day-to-day responsibilities and concerns. He's just told his disciples that they must carry their crosses. But he also promises that he will be with us to carry our crosses when we are overwhelmed. Therefore, he is able to assure everyone who labors and is burdened that he will give them rest. His yoke is easy, and his burden light. Gathered here today, let us put our concerns and anxieties in the Lord's hands and allow him to lift our burdens from our shoulders.

Jesús sabe que nuestra vida es difícil. La misión que nos dejó a cargo es un desafío. Además, tenemos diariamente docenas de responsabilidades y preocupaciones. Él acaba de decirles a sus discípulos que deben cargar con sus cruces. Pero también nos promete que estará con nosotros para cargar con nuestras cruces cuando nos sintamos agobiados. Es por eso que él puede asegurarles a todos los que están fatigados que él les dará alivio. Su yugo es suave y su carga ligera. Reunidos aquí hoy, pongamos nuestras preocupaciones y ansiedades en las manos del Señor, y dejemos que él quite la carga de nuestros hombros.
