August Book Discussion: Magnificent Humanity
Tom Tatterfield—a Saint Michael parishioner who led last year's Theology on Tap on Pope Leo and Artificial Intelligence—will guide us through the groundbreaking document, Pope Leo's encyclical, **Magnifica Humanitas (Magnificent Humanity)**.
Together we'll look at how this important Church document speaks to the challenges our world is facing now and in the years ahead, and how the Church can offer a moral compass in this unprecedented era of technological advancement. It is sure to be an enlightening read and a fascinating discussion!

Young Adult Group
Our newly formed *Young Adult Group* (ages 21 to 30‑something) has put together its summer schedule. The group will host a monthly gathering **every Third Thursday beginning in July.** Each month will highlight a different focus—Sacred Scripture, Christian Service, Prayer and Adoration, or Recreation and Fellowship.

Video Ministry Shines the Light of Christ
This week we shine the spotlight on a ministry team that always works in the background but brings the light of Christ into the homes of many of our parishioners every week: The Video Ministry. Jack Ferres, Steve D'Onofrio, Jim McAloon, and Domenic Terranova make it possible for parishioners to join our Saturday Vigil Mass virtually — including the homebound, those in assisted living, rehab, or nursing facilities, travelers, and former parishioners who remain connected to their spiritual home. They also record prayer services, missions, and major parish events and allow loved ones near and far to witness family baptisms, funerals, and weddings.
