"Donotletyourheartsbetroubled.YouhavefaithinGod;havefaith also in me." These words from our Lord Jesus in the Gospel this weekend are meant for us in every single moment, no matter our circumstances. JesushasascendedintoHeavenandispreparinga placeforustobewithHiminHisFather'sLoveforever. HehassentHisHolySpirittodwellinus,theHolySpiritthat "buildsus]intoa spiritualhouse",sothatwecanbepreparedtoreceivethegreatgiftoftheFather's Love. Letusallcontinuetokeepoureyes fixedonJesusandHisLove forus,and surrendereverythingintoHisHands.
AstheSpiritbuildsusintothisspiritualhouse,JesusalsogivesusHimselfinHoly Communionto unite usmoreclosely toHim. Letusprayespecially for our First CommunicantswhoarereceivingJesusinHolyCommunionforthefirsttimethis weekend! It is an amazing thing thatthe God of the Universe would allow us to receiveHisBody,Blood,Soul,andDivinityatMass.Mayallofushaveourfaithin theEucharist renewedthis weekend,andmaywe cling evermoreclosely toHim everydayofourlives.
Iwanttore-echomygratitudeforyouallagainthisweek.Thistrulyisawonderful parish,andJesushasadeepheartforallofyou,aheartthatHepoursoutinWord andSacramentateveryMass.PleasecontinueprayingforFr.Jose,Fr.Emmanuel, and myself, that all of us may receive Jesus' heart and share it with you in abundance.
