A Farewell from Fr. Michael Laugeman

My heart is filled with so much gratitude as I come to the end of my time here at St. Peter and St. Charles Borromeo! Words fail me as I strive to articulate my love for this community and the gratitude I feel for the love and support you have shown me during my time here at the parishes. I want to extend a special word of thanks to those who put so much work into the farewell receptions at each parish. It was a beautiful way to conclude the year and rejoice in all the good things Our Lord has done! It has truly been an incredible gift to have been welcomed into this community last May after my diaconate ordination, and it has been a great joy to spend this year in service to Jesus and to you all, especially in preaching the Gospel.

Please know that I will always look back fondly on my time here with gratitude for the many relationships and memories that played such an important role in forming my heart. Please keep me in your prayers as I begin my priestly ministry at Sacred Heart in Florissant, and know of my prayers for you as we all seek to grow closer to Jesus in our lives.

Frr. Michael Laugeman
