St. Joseph's Parish 50th Anniversary Celebration Planning

Hey, St. Joseph's, let's plan an anniversary celebration! On Saturday September 12, 2026, our church will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of its consecration. Let's have a parish celebration of the occasion. We need volunteers to start planning the festive event as an organizing committee. We want to have a family-friendly party and hope for volunteers to get things started. Please contact Lisa at the Rectory if you are willing to help at 215-646-0494 or [email protected].

Applying This Week's Gospel

In today's Gospel, Jesus invites his followers to have a deep and personal relationship with him, and he promises them a friendship and intimacy that only he can give. There are many different ways to foster this divine intimacy with Jesus Christ. Some people do this by studying their faith or sharing it by evangelization. Others do this by serving the poor or having close Christian's friends. A great way to nurture this divine intimacy is by being faithful to personal prayer and helping others to pray. This week, take practical steps to help your parish and yourself grow in the area of prayer.

    1. Archbishops and bishops in the United States have offered seven methods or metrics that can be used by parishes and parishioners to achieve and evaluate their spiritual growth and vitality. What do you think of this idea?
    1. What can you do to help your parish and yourself grow in the area of prayer?
