Archdiocese of Cincinnati
Explore 231 Catholic parishes, up-to-date schedules, and livestream options in the diocese.
The Archdiocese of Cincinnati was established in 1821 as the eighth Catholic diocese in the United States, and elevated to an archdiocese in 1850 when Pope Pius IX made it the metropolitan see for all of Ohio. It covers 19 counties in southwestern Ohio and includes 222 parishes. Its mother church, the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Chains, was designated a minor basilica in 2020 — the first in the archdiocese.
