Diocese of Phoenix
Explore 117 Catholic parishes, up-to-date schedules, and livestream options in the diocese.
Established on December 2, 1969 by Pope Paul VI, the Diocese of Phoenix covers central and northern Arizona, carved from the territories of the dioceses of Tucson and Gallup. Its cathedral, Ss. Simon and Jude in Phoenix, anchors a diocese that now serves 119 parishes. Nearly half of its priests come from other countries, giving the diocese a distinctly missionary character, and Our Lady of Guadalupe was formally consecrated as its patroness in 1971.
